1, air stiffness
Magnesium oxysulfide panel is different from ordinary Portland cement in its setting and curing mechanism. It is an air-hardening cementitious material and does not harden in water.
2, multi-component
Magnesium oxysulfide panel is multi-component, and the single-component light-burned powder has basically no strength after hardening with water. Its main components are light-burned powder and magnesium sulfate, and other components include water, modifiers and fillers.
3, mild and non-corrosive to steel
Magnesium oxysulfide panel uses magnesium sulfate as a blending agent. Compared with magnesium oxychloride fireproof panel, magnesium oxysulfide panel does not contain chloride ions and is non-corrosive to steel. Therefore, magnesium oxysulfide panel can replace magnesium oxychloride cement and used in fire door core panels and exteriors. In the field of wall insulation panel, reduce the risk caused by the corrosion of steel by chloride ions.
4, high strength
The compressive strength of magnesium oxysulfide panel can reach 60MPa and the flexural strength can reach 9MPa after modification.
5, air stability and weather resistance
Magnesium oxysulfide panel is an air-hardening cementitious material, which can continue to condense and harden only in the air, which gives it good air stability. After the magnesium oxysulfide panel is cured, the drier the air in the environment, the more stable it is. Tests show that in dry air, the compressive strength and flexural resistance of magnesium oxysulfide fireproof panel products increase with age, and they are still increasing until the two ages and are very stable.
6. Low fever and low corrosiveness
The pH value of the slurry filtrate of the magnesium oxysulfide panel fluctuates between 8 and 9.5, which is close to neutral, and it is very corrosive to glass fiber and wood fiber. Everyone knows that GRC products are reinforced with glass fiber, and plant-fiber products are reinforced with sawdust, wood shavings, cotton stalks, bagasse, peanut hulls, rice husks, corn heart powder and other wood fiber scraps, while glass fibers and wood fibers are not alkali resistant. Materials are extremely afraid of alkali corrosion. They will lose strength under high alkali corrosion and lose their strengthening effect on cementitious materials. Therefore, conventional cement cannot be reinforced with glass fiber and wood fiber due to high alkali. On the other hand, magnesium cement has its unique slightly alkaline advantages and has shown its skills in the field of GRC and plant fiber products.
7, light weight and low density
The density of magnesium oxysulfide panel is generally only 70% of that of ordinary Portland cement products. Its product density is generally 1600~1800㎏/m³, while the density of cement products is generally 2400~2500㎏/m³. Therefore, it has a very obvious low density.
