Classification Of Cleanroom Transfer Window

The transfer window is an orifice device used to block airflow when transferring objects inside and outside the cleanroom or between the cleanrooms, to prevent contamination from spreading with the transfer of objects. Mainly divided into the following categories:

1. Mechanical type
The transfer window has two sashes inside and outside, and there is a mechanical interlock between them. When this kind of transfer window opens, polluted air will bring into the cleanroom.
2. Airlock type (clean type) window
There is a clean airflow between the transfer windows, that is a fan and a high-efficiency filter are installed in the transfer window. The fan is started before the window is opened to allow the clean airflow to pass.
3. Sterilization type
For the biological cleanroom, UV lamps are installed in the transfer window to prevent germs bring in. After opening the window, the object has been put. The window has been closed and the UV lamp has been turned on. After a few minutes of exposure, open the window and take it out.
4. Closed desirability type
To make up for the defect that the mechanical transfer window will bring in polluted air, in addition to the airlock transfer window, a closed and desirable type can also be used.
5. Laminar flow transfer window
The laminar flow transfer window is a kind of cleanroom auxiliary equipment, which is mainly used to transfer small objects between cleanroom and non-clean areas or between cleanrooms with different levels and pressures. On the one hand, it acts as an airlock. On the other hand, the self-cleaning effect is realized during the transfer process to ensure that the items entering the clean area are clean and reduce the cross-contamination caused by the items. The blowing time can be adjusted according to the manual switch, to maximize the effect of self-purification and energy saving.
