Composition and Introduction of Air-conditioning Water System

1.  What is a water system?

The water system, that is, the air conditioner, uses water as the refrigerant. The water system is larger than the traditional fluorine system. It is generally used in large buildings.

In the water system, all the indoor loads are borne by the cold and hot water units. The fan coil units of each room are connected to the cold and hot water units through pipes, and the cold and hot water provided by the water supply is used for cooling and heating.

A typical air conditioning unit is mainly composed of three parts: chilled water circulation system, cooling water circulation system and main engine:

1). This part of the chilled water circulation system consists of a chilled pump, an indoor fan and a chilled water pipeline.

2). Cooling water circulation system consists of cooling pump, cooling water pipeline, cooling water tower and so on.

3). The main engine part is composed of compressor, evaporator, condenser and refrigerant (refrigerant).

 2. The composition of the water system

  • Air release valve: concentrate the air in the water cycle or automatically discharge it at a local location.
  • Check valve: mainly used to prevent the backflow of the medium.
  • Filter: In order to prevent the pollution of the heat transfer pipe of the air-conditioning equipment and the blockage of the system locally, a water quality treatment device is installed at the water inlet of the important equipment such as the heat source of the chiller.
  • Temperature-controlled electric two-way valve or three-way valve
  • Expansion tank: First, it collects the water volume increased due to the expansion of the water heating volume to prevent the system from being damaged. In addition, it also acts as a constant pressure.
  • Water system instrument: for the convenience of debugging and operation management of the air conditioning system, some necessary instruments are required in water system.
  • Water system valve: one is to adjust the amount of water in the pipe network; the other is to switch the valve.
